fyi:
all recordings posted by shutup& dance are "naked" recordings that are untouched of any equalization, processing or audio engineering, of any kind. if audio adjustments are desired, it may be best to allow the listener to make the adjustments on their own, so it can be fine tuned to that listeners ear and playback devise. raw recordings allow for the listener to make adjustments that the recordist may not be able.
most/all "large sound system" recordings posted by shutup& dance are recorded w/ core sound binaurals with an inline, bass roll-off filter located between the mics and recorder. these mics are designed to be so true to sound, its often amazing.
if you attended the show, you would know that this recording is very close the the actual sound heard at the amphitheater on that day. shutup&dance suggests comparing sound quality to other shows that have been recorded at the same venue.

Bass, mixing and balance ruins this perfectly good outdoor show
I agree about the bass. I had to adjust the equalizer in iTunes for the songs to reduced bass. Still, it's not the a very good recording, unfortunately, since the performance/setlist are both great as they usually are when the band plays at home. Also, the band discuss Jenny Conlee's recent cancer treatment in a rare touching, somber moment. The other Oregon show from earlier in the tour is much better quality.

Fun show, some annoying base
Fun show to listen to, but on some songs the base causes some annoying distortion.
